The Process
At the outset, Opportunity Zone Advisors (OZA) works with qualified exchange investors to identify and source Qualified Opportunity Zone Funds and projects. Then utilizes a network of qualified sponsors to invest in residential mixed-use and commercial projects in designated Opportunity Zones.
Every QOF has a targeted 10 year internal rate of return or IRR (not contemplating tax breaks as every state will vary). To achieve maximum returns, each potential OZ project is negotiated, heavily vetted and underwritten to ensure the fund meets outlined goals. OZA's involvement does not end there, we will continue to monitor and manage the investment through the project's life cycle with quarterly reporting.
Our primary objective is to make informed investments in projects that align with the criteria of the Opportunity Zone Program and honor the goals outlined by the fund, with the added benefit of a tax shelter.
